Portfolio Gallery in St Marychurch has been owned and run by Peter and Vicki Moretta for the past 9 years. In that time they’ve developed the business from a gallery and framing workshop to add a lovely little coffee shop at the back whose customers include a mix of locals and holidaymakers. The latest business addition is a website from which they will be selling an extensive range of canvases and framed pictures.

Peter Moretta, owner of Portfolio said, “We are delighted to have this great new website up and running. We have a lot of holidaymakers visit the gallery and often buy one or two of our pictures to take home with them. Having the website means that they can add to their collection at any time throughout the year and I think this can only be a positive thing for us. We have also become aware that a number of our local customers don’t always have time to visit the gallery and I think that the website, which is obviously open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, should hopefully provide a new shopping outlet for them too. With well over 100 different pictures to choose from the website has given us the opportunity to showcase a larger selection of pictures.”

The website has been designed and set up by another St Marychurch business, Studio Devon, run by Phil Allen. Peter said “It’s particularly nice to be able to use a local company to develop the site for us . Phil helped us through the process and gave us exactly what we asked for which was a website with full e-commerce capability that reflects the feel of our St Marycurch gallery.”
